Always
Your website should be a lasting home for your presence online.
Since 2006, I’ve been creating websites that give clients a space of their own. A lot has changed since then, and continues to— how websites are built, the platforms available, the devices we use, and the rise of social media and online advertising.
But through all of it, one thing has remained constant.
Your website is where real consideration happens— where your story is told, what you offer is clearly presented, and visitors decide whether to take the next step.
If that matters to you, I’d be glad to connect.

Down Home Farm
Down Home Farm is a personal project created alongside my work at F3 Designs, rooted in land, story, and a quieter way of living. This website was built with all my heart to reflect our prairie property— land we farm, now opening to guests for private photo Captures and unique Manitoba Stays. This place is deeply special to me, and holds a meaningful part of my story.

About Me
Independent by Design
Hi, I’m Faye Fossay
I started F3 Designs in 2006 with a simple goal of doing meaningful work from home while staying close to my family. What began then still guides me now— stay honest, work hard, and build a life that feels true.
Before F3 Designs, and ever since, I’ve worked alongside talented creatives and technical professionals who helped shape the knowledge and perspective I bring to my work.
I now work independently and intentionally— taking on projects I can personally guide from start to finish.

Have Questions?
Browse my FAQs
How much does a website cost?
My most common question—and if I had a nickel for every time, I’d be answering this from a beach somewhere. 😉🏝️
It’s like asking what a house costs. Want a garage? A finished basement? Maybe a pool?
Websites work the same way. Some are simple and straightforward, while others require more structure, functionality, and customization.
Costs vary based on what you need. I do share general starting points when you first inquire, but final pricing is determined once your goals are understood and the scope is defined. Your proposal then outlines that scope clearly and includes the cost.
I need a website — where do I start?
Exactly where you are now. Some clients come with an existing website, while others are starting with only an idea, a business name, or a domain.
Whether you need help choosing a direction, sorting out domains and hosting, or understanding what comes next, I’ll help you focus on what matters most right now and recommend practical next steps based on your goals. We’ll sort through the details together from there.
Is F3 Designs the right fit for my project?
F3 Designs is best suited for small to mid-sized businesses, organizations, and independents who value personal service, experienced guidance, and a thoughtful approach.
I don’t take on every project, and I’m honest when a better fit may exist elsewhere. Clear scope, thoughtful proposals, and mutual alignment matter. If you value clarity, quality, and direct access to the person doing the work, we may be a strong match.
What kinds of services do you offer?
My primary focus is custom WordPress website creation, along with managed hosting, domain management, website support, and practical guidance that brings everything together smoothly.
I also continue to support existing Shopify clients, while helping select long-standing clients transition to more modern platforms where needed.
What falls outside your focus and offerings?
My work centers on thoughtful website creation using WordPress, along with domains, hosting, setup, and ongoing maintenance for the websites I build.
Social media management, IT support, advertising services, and supporting websites I didn’t build fall outside the scope of what I offer.
I work best with clients who are looking for a well-built website and understand the value of investing in a solid foundation, rather than focusing on quick or low-cost builds.
Do you build with Squarespace or Wix?
I don’t build with Squarespace or Wix—my focus is WordPress. Platforms like Squarespace and Wix are proprietary, all-in-one platforms—meaning everything is built and managed within their system. They can be a suitable fit for simpler DIY websites and built-in convenience.
On those platforms, your website is hosted within their system, and many people also end up managing their domain there for convenience. This can result in your site being tied to that platform—making it more difficult to customize beyond its built-in limits, expand as your needs grow, or move your site elsewhere down the road.
I work with clients who are looking for a more tailored approach—offering greater flexibility, more control, and the ability to evolve their website over time without being limited to a single platform.
Why is WordPress your preferred platform?
WordPress is an open-source platform, meaning it isn’t owned or controlled by a single provider. Instead, it’s built on software that can be used, adapted, and hosted independently.
This approach offers the flexibility and control needed to build websites that are thoughtfully structured and adaptable as needs change.
With WordPress, your website isn’t tied to one provider. Your domain, hosting, and website can each be managed independently—giving you the freedom to adjust, expand, or even move your site if needed, without having to start over.
It’s the platform I trust most and recommend with confidence.
What is Divi for WordPress?
Divi is the professional WordPress design framework I use for website builds. It allows for modern visual design, flexible layouts, and user-friendly editing after launch.
After evaluating different tools over the years, it became the clear choice for how I work today—and for the clients I build for.
Do you build Shopify websites?
I’ve completed select Shopify projects in the past and continue to support existing Shopify clients. Shopify can be an excellent platform when eCommerce is the clear priority.
For lighter online selling or websites where content and services carry more weight, WordPress is often the stronger fit. Today, my primary focus is WordPress, where I’m choosing to concentrate my time and ongoing work.
Do I own my website after launch?
Yes. Ownership and clarity matter.
Clients should know where their website is hosted, where their domain is registered, who controls important accounts, and how everything connects. These details are often overlooked until there’s a problem. I help make sure they’re clear from the start.
Are you available after launch?
Absolutely. Many clients appreciate knowing they still have someone to turn to after launch.
Some prefer to manage updates themselves using the tutorial resources I provide, while others prefer hands-on support as needed. Whether it’s edits, guidance, or ongoing help, support remains available in the way that suits them best.
A clear, proven process from first inquiry to launch.
01 Inquiry
You reach out, and I’ll send over my Information Handout so you can get a feel for how I work, what I offer, pricing, and what the next steps look like.
02 Discovery
If things feel aligned, you’ll receive my Web Planner and we’ll book a discovery call to talk through your goals, priorities, and whether we’re the right fit for each other.
03 Proposal
From there, I’ll prepare a thoughtful proposal covering scope, timeline, pricing, and next steps—so everything is clear before we begin.
04 Agreement
Once everything is confirmed, the agreement is signed, deposit is received, and your project is scheduled. With scope, timeline, and expectations clearly defined, we move forward with confidence.
05 Design + Build
This is where your website starts taking shape. I move through design, development, and review in clear stages, with room for feedback and refinement along the way.
06 Launch + Support
Your site goes live, everything is connected and tested, and you’re provided full access along with guidance and support to move forward confidently.
Much of my current time is dedicated to supporting existing and returning clients, with projects extending into late 2026. I’m always glad to receive new client inquiries—we can determine timing and fit once we connect.
